Close Brothers Motor Finance upgrades its GAP proposition in partnership with Intelligent Motoring

Leading independent vehicle finance company Close Brothers Motor Finance has chosen Intelligent Motoring as its preferred GAP insurance partner. The collaboration will enable Close Brothers to offer all customers a 5-star Defaqto rated GAP offering.

Leading independent vehicle finance company Close Brothers Motor Finance has chosen Intelligent Motoring as its preferred GAP insurance partner. The collaboration will enable Close Brothers Motor Financeto offer all customersa 5-star Defaqto rated GAP offering, via Intelligent Motoring’s consumer-facing brand, MotorEasy. 

Intelligent Motoring was appointed as the exclusive provider for GAP insurance following a rigorous tender process.It was awarded the prestigious five-year contract for best-in-class product value, IT platforms, commercial flexibility, and its innovative approach to the market. 

Close Brothers Motor Finance’s 8,000-strong dealer and broker partners will continue to have priority in offering GAP to their car buyers, with the Intelligent Motoring customer support team only contacting consumers following an agreed grace period.  

Customers can access Intelligent Motoring’s car ownership portal once their policy has begun, where they’re able to access their GAP insurance policy documentation.
