Posted on Jan 24, 2025
24th January 2025 – MotorEasy proudly returned as the headline partner for the fifth consecutive year at the prestigious What Car? New Car of the Year Awards last night, celebrating excellence in the automotive industry.
In an exciting development during the event, What Car? and MotorEasy announced a new groundbreaking venture that will see the creation of an innovative car ownership platform, set to launch later this summer.
Addressing the audience at the awards, Duncan McClure Fisher, CEO of Intelligent Motoring, MotorEasy’s parent company, said, “We’ve had the pleasure of watching What Car? evolve its digital solutions while maintaining its position as the UK’s leading car-buying advice magazine for many years, and are proud to have journeyed alongside it in recent years, supporting and developing joint initiatives. However, we are delighted to announce our partnership is now moving up a gear.
“Our latest venture will merge What Car?’s trusted editorial content with Intelligent Motoring’s advanced technology and comprehensive suite of car protection and maintenance products.
Together, we are building a platform that redefines car ownership, offering drivers an all-in-one solution for reliable information and essential services. We aim to empower owners, making it easier than ever to stay on top of everything from maintenance and warranties to insurance and more.
“It’s a bold step forward, with the platform already under development. However, there is an exciting opportunity for like-minded collaborators to join us in building our vision and we are seeking car retailers, insurers, finance companies and all types of ancillary providers to join us in taking this exciting next path. What Car? and Intelligent Motoring are both opening their doors to potential partners and look forward to forming a game-changing cohort.”
