Select Car Leasing partners with MotorEasy to provide peace of mind and protection to UK motorists.

MotorEasy to provide a full suite of protection and maintenance products to new and existing Select Car Leasing customers.

Select Car Leasing has partnered with leading automotive aftersales specialist MotorEasy to provide peace of mind and protection to UK motorists.

The collaboration has arisen as Select looks to continue to expand its range of value-added services to lease customers.

MotorEasy will now provide a full suite of solutions targeting both new and existing Select Car Leasing clients.

The first range of insurance products to launch are Lease GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection), Cosmetic, Alloy, and Tyre.

Lease GAP Insurance covers the shortfall between a main insurer’s payout and the outstanding balance still owed on a lease agreement in cases where the vehicle is declared a total loss.

From November this year, every customer who leases a vehicle with Select will automatically receive 30 days free GAP Insurance. 

Alloy Insurance begins at just £6.50 per month and covers the cost of repairs to damaged rims. 

Cosmetic Insurance provides financial protection against scratches, dings, dents, bumper scuffs and any other bodywork damage. 

Tyre Insurance picks up the cost of damaged or punctured tyres, whether the customer has normal, run flat or performance tyres.

Warranty cover will follow as the next product, offered as an add-on protection for cars on lease terms that exceed their original manufacturer cover period. Subsequent phases will see vehicle servicing and repairs added to the mix.

Select customers will also gain access to an industry-leading, dual-branded and unique ‘Digital Garage’, which provides a central location for a car’s history and documentation, helping motorists manage, protect, and maintain their vehicles at discounted rates.

Adding to the offering, Select and MotorEasy will look to offer warranty solutions to customers who are either on contracts longer than three years or who are leasing a used vehicle. Discounted, ad-hoc vehicle servicing solutions are also earmarked for roll-out further down the line.
